Matt Cappelletti posted three hits and drove in a run in the pivotal fifth inning of the Yellowjackets' 6-4 non-conference win against the Hamilton College Continentals at Rochester's Towers Field on Tuesday night.

Hamilton (12-10 overall) scored three of its four runs on homers, and the Continentals used six pitchers. Hamilton hosts a NESCAC West Division game against Wesleyan University on Friday, April 15 at 4 p.m.

The Yellowjackets (20-4) received votes in this week's D3baseball.com/National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Top 25 poll. Rochester scored three runs in the bottom of the second inning, two in the fifth and one more for insurance in the seventh.

Adam Wijaya '22 finished with two hits, including his first home run for the Continentals.
Phil Bernstein '23 went 2-for-4 with a walk and his third home run this season. Bernstein scored two of Hamilton's four runs and extended his current hit streak to 15 games.
Jackson Sattinger '24 added two hits and a stolen base. Sattinger has recorded multiple hits in four consecutive contests.

Henry Tyler '25, Preston Perez '22 and
Carl Maxwell '22 pitched one scoreless inning each in relief for the Continentals.
Jamie Hauswirth '22 (1-1) pitched the fifth inning and took the loss.

Bernstein led off with a home run to center field on the game's first pitch. The Yellowjackets countered with three runs on four hits in the second inning.

Hamilton got a run back in the third.
Brady Slinger '22, who was named the NESCAC player of the week and to the D3baseball.com team of the week, bunted for a single with one out. Slinger advanced to second on a wild pitch and moved to third on a single to right field by Sattinger.
Greg Kopp '25 walked to load the bases and a fly ball to right field by
Shane Dux '24 drove in Slinger.

The Continentals pulled in front at 4-3 in the fourth inning. Bernstein drew a two-out walk and Wijaya hammered a home run to left field on a 3-2 pitch. Rochester took the lead for good with two runs in the fifth on two hit batsmen and an infield single. Hamilton had one baserunner over the last four innings.
