Hamilton College's
Jackson Sattinger '24 drove in two runs and four Continental pitchers scattered five hits in seven innings as Hamilton posted a 4-1 win against The College of New Jersey at Chain O'Lakes Stadium in Winter Haven, Fla., on Tuesday.

The Continentals (2-2 overall) scored single runs in the first and fifth innings and added two more in the sixth. Hamilton takes on Knox College at Northeast Regional Park in Davenport, Fla., on Wednesday, March 16 at 2 p.m.

The Lions (2-3) scored their run in the top of the sixth inning. The game was stopped after the top of the seventh because this was supposed to be the first game of a doubleheader. The nightcap was suspended due to thunderstorms in the third inning with TCNJ ahead, 3-1.

Sattinger finished with two singles, which happened the only hits of the game for the Continentals.
Phil Bernstein '23 scored twice as he drew a walk and was hit by a pitch. Hamilton batters drew eight walks and added two hit batsmen.

Carl Maxwell '24 allowed four hits and a walk in four shutout innings for his first collegiate win.
Jack Eshleman '25 tossed a scoreless fifth and
Henry Boehm '25 earned his first save with a perfect, nine-pitch seventh inning.

Bernstein led off the bottom of the first with a walk and advanced to third base on two infield groundouts. Sattinger drove him in with a two-out single up the middle. Bernstein led off the fifth by getting hit with a pitch and eventually made it to third with two outs. Sattinger came through with two outs again, driving in Bernstein with a single through the left side.

The Lions didn't get a runner to third base until the top of the sixth inning. Ryan Goodall greeted
Jamie Hauswirth '22 with a single up the middle. Goodall stole second, moved to third on a balk and scored on Joe Oczkowski's lineout to the center fielder.

The Continentals responded with two runs in the bottom half.
Ethan Murphy '22 drew a one-out walk and
Adam Wijaya '22 was hit by a pitch. Both runners moved up on a balk and
Jackson Johns '24 loaded the bases with another free pass. Murphy scored on a fielder's choice and Wijaya eventually came home on a passed ball.
