Hamilton College scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning against Carthage College and the Continentals completed a sweep of Monday's action at Sleepy Hollow Field in Leesburg, Fla.

Hamilton improved to 4-0 this spring with the 6-5 win over Carthage and a 10-5 triumph against Salem State University earlier in the afternoon. The Continentals are off on Tuesday before playing Bowdoin College and Farmingdale State College at Legends Way Ballfields in Clermont, Fla.

Hamilton banged out 16 hits and stole five bases against the Vikings. The Continentals scored six runs in the bottom of the third inning after Salem State had taken a 2-0 lead in the top half of the third. The Vikings pulled within a run at 6-5 in the fifth, but Hamilton countered with two runs in the bottom of the inning and two more in the sixth for the final margin.

Alessandra Priante '24 led the Continentals by going 4-for-4 with a triple.
Katlynn McGivney '23 singled twice and drove in three runs, and
Kiana Arcayena '22 singled, doubled and had two runs batted in.
Emma Tansky '25 went 2-for-3 with a walk.

Hamilton's
Teagan Graham '25 allowed five unearned runs on five hits and a walk in five innings. Graham also fanned eight as she picked up her first win with the Continentals.
Natalie Beebe '24 earned the save by striking out five and giving up one hit in two shutout innings.

Hamilton trailed 5-3 through six innings but rallied to take the lead in the top of the seventh.
Ella Heftved '25 led off with a single to right and
Vicky Dunn '22 smashed a one-out home run to center field that tied the score. McGivney followed with an infield single and moved to second on a sacrifice. She then scored the go-ahead run on a single to center by
Mikayla Worzel '23.

Carthage led off the bottom of the seventh with an infield single and Head Coach
Stephanie Hartquist called on Beebe to close it out again. Beebe was up to the challenge as she got the first batter to ground into a fielder's choice, and stranded the tying run at third base by striking out the next two batters.

Dunn finished with two hits and the two RBIs.
Shelby McVey '22 hammered a two-run triple in the fourth inning and McGivney and Heftved added two hits apiece.

Tansky improved to 2-0 as she allowed four earned runs in six-plus innings, walked two and struck out three. Beebe picked up her second save of the day with another scoreless inning. Beebe has allowed one run in 10 innings this spring with one walk and 13 strikeouts.
