The Hamilton College Continentals lost 9-0 against Middlebury College in the match for seventh place in the 2022 NESCAC Women's Squash Championship at Hamilton's Little Squash Center on Sunday morning.

The Continentals dropped to 7-10 overall this season. Hamilton was the championship's eighth seed and Middlebury (5-8) was the seventh seed. The Continentals kicked off the weekend with a 5-4 win over Wesleyan University in Friday's first round. Hamilton dropped a 9-0 decision against Trinity College in Saturday's quarterfinals, and fell 6-3 to Bates College in the consolation round later that day.

Eliana Good '24 and
Eleanor Bailey '25 came the closest to picking up team points for the Continentals against the Panthers. Good won the second and third games but lost in five at the second position. Bailey captured the first two games but also fell in five at the third position.

Hamilton will compete in the 2022 CSA National Team Championships at Harvard University and Tufts University from Friday, Feb. 25 through Sunday, Feb. 27.
