The Amherst College Mammoths defeated the Hamilton College Continentals 7-2 inside Hamilton's Little Squash Center on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Continentals are 24^th in the College Squash Team Rankings while Amherst is ranked 14^th. Eight of the nine matches were decided in three games.
 
Hope Worcester '23 improved her record to 2-1 this season with a hard-fought win at the sixth position. Worcester, who picked up her ninth career victory, recorded a 12-10 decision in the first game and edged Margaret Pearson 15-13 in the deciding third game.
 
Gainsley Korengold '25 also moved to 2-1, but had a much easier time of it at the ninth position. Korengold wrapped up the match with an 11-3 triumph in the third game.
 
Hamilton returns to the court on Friday, Jan. 13, 2023, when it takes on Colby College in Maine at 6 p.m.
