Wesleyan University's Sophia Lindus recorded 15 kills and 10 digs in the nationally ranked No. 13 Cardinals' three-set NESCAC win (25-15, 25-23, 25-13) against the Hamilton College Continentals on Saturday afternoon inside Wesleyan's Silloway Gymnasium.

How It Happened
- Wesleyan racked up their best hitting percentage of the match in set one at .419 with 17 kills and just four errors on 31 attempts. The Cardinals led by as much as 12 points at 21-9 and 22-10.Â
- Hamilton held a 10-6 advantage in the second set before Wesleyan rode an 8-0 streak and took the lead at 14-10. Down 22-16, the Continentals climbed within a single point after a 5-0 run that featured three aces by Melissa Morelli '24. Wesleyan took the next two points but Hamilton refused to go down without a fight and responded with two more. Bella Ahearn closed out the set on the next serve with a kill for the Cardinals.Â
- Wesleyan opened the third set with a 4-0 run and never looked back. The Cardinals later put together six points in a row and gained a 22-8 lead. The Continentals went on a 4-0 run and cut the deficit to 10, but the Cardinals scored three of the last four points, including a kill by Michelle Jorba that ended the match.Â
- The Cardinals posted a team hitting percentage of .371 with 46 kills in 97 attempts.Â
- Wesleyan collected eight blocks.Â
- Hamilton tallied eight service aces while the Cardinals served seven.
