Tufts University's Michael Berluti threw for 349 yards and four touchdowns and the Jumbos posted a 49-13 NESCAC win against the Hamilton College Continentals at Tufts' Ellis Oval in suburban Boston on Saturday afternoon.

Hamilton is in a four-way tie for sixth place in the conference standings with a 2-5 record. The Jumbos improved to 4-3.

How It Happened
- Tufts scored two touchdowns in each of the first three quarters and added a seventh score in the fourth. Seven of the Jumbos' 10 drives ended with touchdowns.
- Tyler Johnson scored on a 19-yard run that capped a 10-play, 95-yard march with 9:57 left in the first quarter.
- Berluti found Phil Lutz for a 23-yard touchdown with 4:05 remaining in the first.
- Johnson's 15-yard touchdown run ended an 89-yard drive with 9:02 to go in the second quarter.
- Matt Banbury '23 put the Continentals on the scoreboard with 5:01 left in the second when the quarterback ran for a four-yard touchdown at the end of an eight-play, 79-yard drive. Evan Reed '26 kicked the extra-point and made it 21-7.
- Tufts struck one more time before the half on a 70-yard touchdown pass to Jaden Richardson with 61 seconds remaining.
- Berluti and Lutz hooked up again, this time for a 41-yard score with 8:55 to go in the third quarter.
- Cade Moore scored on a 51-yard pass from Berluti with 37 seconds left in the third.
- Hamilton's Leo Gerst '26 punched it in from the three with 11:27 remaining in the fourth quarter and made the score 42-13.
- Joey Dellumo rounded out the scoring on a one-yard touchdown run for the Jumbos with 29 seconds to go. The drive took 17 plays – 14 of which were runs -- and lasted nearly 11 minutes.

Notes
- Banbury was 9 of 18 passing for 114 yards with three interceptions. He also ran for 76 yards and scored his fourth career touchdown.
- Gerst gained 46 yards on the ground and scored a touchdown for the second week in a row.
- Tight end Mark Howrigan '23 caught six passes for a career-high 114 yards. Howrigan is eighth in the NESCAC with 34 receptions.
- Cole Rivell '24 led the Continentals defense with 10 tackles and forced a fumble. He's tied for ninth in the conference with 49 tackles.
- Jake Dale '25 recorded six solo stops including his second sack and returned a fumble recovery four yards.
- Joseph Campanella '26 returned a kickoff 52 yards for Hamilton.
- Johnson finished with 148 yards rushing on 22 carries for Tufts.
- Richardson caught eight passes for 151 yards and Lutz added seven catches for 117 yards.
- Will McCreery led the Jumbos defense with seven tackles.
- Victor Garza, Louis Timmins and Kristian Rosario picked off passes for Tufts.
- The Jumbos racked up 606 yards of total offense to 293 for the Continentals.
- Tufts had the ball for more than 35 minutes, was 6 of 10 on third down conversions and 2-for-2 when going for it on fourth down.
