Hamilton College swimmers finished first in seven events and the Continentals wrapped up their home schedule with a dual meet against Colgate University at Bristol Pool on Wednesday night.
Hamilton's dual meet record dropped to 3-7 with a 159-129 setback against the Division I Raiders. The Continentals travel to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for another dual meet on Saturday, Jan. 29 at 1 p.m.
Hamilton captured first place in the women's 200-yard medley relay with a time of 2:00.50.
Lucy Hamann '22, Irene Keh '24, Lucy Elliott '23 and
Sam Karlson '23 were the members of that winning relay.
Hamann took first place in the 100 backstroke (1:00.76) and the 200 back (2:11.64). Karlson grabbed the top spot in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.03 seconds and in the 100 free in 53.88 seconds. Keh swept the breaststroke events with times of 1:09.16 in the 100 breast and 2:29.31 in the 200.
Emma Nordquist '25 was runner-up in the 200 free (2:00.10) and the 500 free (5:25.18).
Caroline Shen '24 landed in second place in the 100 back (1:00.94), and
Madison Goodman-Leong '25 ended up second in the 200 butterfly (2:13.16).
Jillian Rhodes '22 finished behind Keh in the 100 breast (1:10.30) and the 200 breast (2:32.45).
In diving,
Carolyn Gevinski '22 was second in the 1-meter springboard with 165.10 points, and in the 3-meter board with 159.45 points.
