Hamilton College's
Bram Mansbach '24 and
Nick Lyon '22 won their events in the non-team scoring 2022 Hamilton Indoor Track & Field Invitational at Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on Friday.

Mansbach finished first in the men's mile run with a time of 4:23.67 and was fourth in the 800-meter run in 2:01.57. Lyon captured first place in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:55.65.

Peter Cuomo '24 was runner-up in the triple jump with a mark of 11.68 meters, ended up third in the long jump with a leap of 5.95 meters and landed in fifth place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.92 seconds.

The Continentals took third place in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:38.27.
George Brady '23, Max Steffey '22, Andrew Harrell '23 and
James Gallagher '24 were the members of that relay.

Brady finished second in the 800 meters (2:00.76), just 22-hundredths of a second behind the winner in the most exciting race of the night, while Gallagher was a split-second behind Brady in 2:00.84. Harrell was runner-up in the mile (4:23.76) in a showdown with Mansbach, and Steffey finished in third place (4:28.07).

Josh Harmsen '23 posted the second-fastest time in the 60-meter dash preliminary heats with a time of 7.16 seconds.
Michael Ngaw '25 was ninth in the prelims and eighth in the finals of the 60 meters with identical times of 7.48 seconds.
Rasikh Shaukat finished fourth in the 400-meter dash in 56.44 seconds.

The Continentals are back at Utica College for the third time this season in the Blue and Orange Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 29 at 11 a.m.
