The Hamilton College Continentals cruised to a dual meet victory over the Union College Dutchwomen at Hamilton's Bristol Pool on Wednesday night.
The Continentals are now 3-4 in dual matches this season after the 187-49 decision against Union. Several Hamilton athletes recorded multiple event wins.
The Continentals kicked off the meet by finishing first in the women's 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:52.13.
Lucy Hamann '22, Irene Keh '24, Lucy Elliott '23 and
Sam Karlson '23 made up that winning relay.
Karlson also captured first place in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.26 seconds and the 100 free in 54.42 seconds. Keh was a winner in the 400 individual medley (4:49.26) and in the 100 breaststroke (1:09.42). Hamann took first place in the 100 backstroke (1:00.42).
Hamilton completed the relays sweep with a victory in the 200 free relay (1:43.39).
Claire Campbell '22, Madison Goodman-Leong '25, Ella Brady '24 and
Katt Withers '25 were the relay members. Goodman-Leong won the 100 butterfly (1:00.12).
Marissa Duffy '25 was victorious in the 200 free (2:01.69) and the 500 free (5:31.11).
Emma Nordquist '25 claimed the top spot in the 1,000 free (11:26.05) and
Gabby Pia '24 was runner-up (11:34.46).
Ashley Kolpan '24 grabbed second place in the 400 IM (4:53.67) and
Karly Leiman '22 was second in the 100 fly (1:01.95). In diving,
Carolyn Gevinski '22 was runner-up in both the 1-meter springboard and the 3-meter board with 166.20 and 161.05 points, respectively.
The Continentals travel to Williams College where they will compete against the Ephs and Middlebury College on Saturday, Jan. 22 at 1 p.m.
