Hamilton College swimmers finished first in seven events in a dual meet against the Ithaca College Bombers at Ithaca's Kelsey Partridge Bird Natatorium on Thursday afternoon.
The Bombers defeated the Continentals by a score of 169.5-124.5. Hamilton (2-4 overall) hosts Union College at Bristol Pool on Wednesday, Jan. 19 at 6 p.m.
Irene Keh '24 captured first place in three events for the Continentals. Keh posted a time of 1:09.89 in the 100-yard breaststroke and 2:30.88 in the 200 breast, and finished the 200 individual medley in 2:15.33.
Hamilton took the top spot in the 400 freestyle relay (3:43.41) behind the efforts of
Madison Goodman-Leong '25, Lucy Hamann '22, Katt Withers '25 and
Sam Karlson '23. Goodman-Leong also collected wins in the 100 butterfly (1:00.13) and the 200 fly (2:10.70).
Hamann was a winner in the 200 backstroke (2:11.73).
Lucy Elliott '23 added a runner-up finish in the 100 back (1:02.41).
Karlson landed in second place in the 50 free with a time of 25.19 seconds and in the 200 free (1:59.73).
Jillian Rhodes '22 ended up second in the 100 breast (1:11.22) and
Karly Leiman '22 was runner-up in the 200 fly (2:20.18).
