Men's basketball home game with Ithaca moved up to January 11

Non-conference meeting will kick off a five-game homestand for the Continentals

The Hamilton College men's basketball team will host the Ithaca College Bombers for a non-conference game at Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on Tuesday, Jan. 11 at 3:30 p.m.

The teams were originally scheduled to play at Hamilton on Jan. 18 but Ithaca ended up with a conflict. The Continentals are 6-6 overall and a perfect 3-0 at home so far this season. Hamilton has won 19 of the past 20 meetings with the Bombers dating back to 1981.

Ithaca is 5-4 overall and 2-1 in the Liberty League. The Bombers defeated league opponent Hobart College 91-85 at home on Saturday afternoon.

Due to the rapid onset of the highly transmissible Omicron variant, NESCAC institutions are temporarily restricting attendance at indoor athletic events to individuals with Hamilton identification who are part of the College's COVID-19 testing protocols.
