Hamilton College's Dorothy Poucher '21 (Jacksonville, Fla./Episcopal School of Jacksonville) has been selected for the 2020-21 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

CoSIDA 2020-21 Academic All-District Team release

The honor is the first for Poucher, who is one of nine women's volleyball players on the District 3 (New York) first team in NCAA Division III. The creative writing major has a cumulative grade point average of 3.73.

The academic all-district team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in all three NCAA divisions and the NAIA. The academic all-district teams are divided into geographic districts across the U.S. and Canada.

Poucher was a two-time member of the NESCAC fall all-academic team during her Hamilton volleyball career. She played in 67 matches and 241 sets in three years as the 2020 season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She finished her career with 490 kills, 131 total blocks, 108 service aces and 108 digs.
