The Hamilton College Continentals defeated the Wesleyan University Cardinals and lost to the St. Lawrence University Saints at Hamilton's Little Squash Center on Saturday afternoon.

The Continentals -- 23rd in the College Squash Overall Team Rankings -- posted a 9-0 win against No. 24 Wesleyan, but dropped a 6-3 decision against No. 21 St. Lawrence. Hamilton goes into the winter break with a 2-3 record. The Cardinals dropped to 1-2 and the Saints improved to 5-1.

Natalie Harrity '23 won both of her matches at the fifth position for the Continentals and is 4-1 this season. Katie Hodulik '23 is now 3-2 on the season after she recorded two wins at the eighth position. Eleanor Struthers '22 is 4-1 this season and 29-15 in her Hamilton career after she registered two more victories at the ninth position.

Eliana Good '24 (first position), Sarah Stonestreet '25 (second) and Madison Sakheim '22 (seventh) swept their Wesleyan opponents in three games. Sakheim picked up her 26th career win. Eleanor Bailey '25 (fourth) and Sydney Soloway '22 (sixth) won in four games against the Cardinals as Soloway picked up career victory No. 21.

Hope Worcester '23 rallied from two games down and triumphed in five games at the third position. Worcester started her comeback with a thrilling 14-12 win in the third game before she took the fourth and fifth games by 11-8 scores.

The Continentals return to the court on Wednesday, Jan. 12 for a match against NESCAC opponent Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vt.
