NCAA women's soccer championship early-round preview

No. 17 Continentals start their journey in the first round against Johnson & Wales on Saturday

The Hamilton College Continentals take on the Johnson & Wales University Wildcats in the first round of the 2021 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship at William Smith College in Geneva, N.Y., on Saturday, Nov. 13.

William Smith hosts John Jay College on Saturday at 11 a.m. and Hamilton's match follows at approximately 1:30 p.m. Links for the live video stream and live statistics are posted on the Hamilton women's soccer schedule page.

The nationally ranked No. 17 Continentals are 13-2-2 overall and they are making their fifth appearance in the championship. Hamilton advanced to the quarterfinals back in 2007. The Continentals were ranked third in Region I by the NCAA. Saturday will mark the first meeting ever between Hamilton and Johnson & Wales.

The Wildcats are 17-3-2 overall and were ranked eighth in Region I by the NCAA. Johnson & Wales is making its fourth appearance in the championship, and the Wildcats are still searching for their first victory in this event.
