The Hamilton College Continentals dropped their Walker Cup (C Division) quarterfinal against the Amherst College Mammoths in the 2020 College Squash Association National Collegiate Women's Team Championships at Yale University on Friday morning.
Amherst -- the top seed in the C Division -- defeated No. 8 seed Hamilton 9-0. The Continentals (8-10 overall) take on fifth-seeded Bowdoin College in a consolation semifinal at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22 at Yale. Bowdoin has already edged Hamilton by a 5-4 decision twice this season. All the Continentals' players lost in three games against their Amherst opponents.
