Jadow '19 a winner at women's squash national championships

The Hamilton College Continentals dropped an 8-1 decision against the Franklin & Marshall College Diplomats in the Walker Cup (C Division) consolation bracket final at the 2018 College Squash Association (CSA) National Team Championships played at Harvard University on Sunday morning.

Hamilton finishes the season with a record of 10-11 and the Continentals ended up 22nd in the final CSA National Team Ranking. Franklin & Marshall (4-15 record) finishes at No. 21 in the rankings.

Lindsay Jadow '19 was the lone winner for Hamilton. Jadow was playing up at the ninth position after one of the members of the Continentals' lineup retired from Saturday's match against St. Lawrence University due to illness and was ruled out for Sunday. She posted her fourth victory this season and the 12th of her Hamilton career. Jadow edged her opponent 15-13 in the first game and, after she dropped the second, closed out the match by scores of 11-9 in the third and fourth games.

Caitlin Stern '21 nearly earned another team point for the Continentals at the fifth position. Stern jumped out to a two games-to-none lead but eventually lost in five.
