Conn. College shuts down men's soccer

The Hamilton College men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 NESCAC contest at Connecticut College Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Continentals fall to 1-3 in the conference and 3-3-1 overall.

The Camels (5-0-2, 2-0-2 NESCAC) remain undefeated with a goal by Justin Miranda in the 32nd minute. Miranda took a shot from outside the box just past the reach of Linds Cadwell '20. Cadwell made four saves for Hamilton.

Jeff Plump '20 had a chance to tie the game in the final seconds but A.J. Marcucci preserved the shutout with his fifth save of the day.

Conn. College outshot the Continentals 14-11 and doubled down on corner kick attempts (8-4).

Hamilton continues conference play as they host Wesleyan on Saturday, Sept. 30 and Tufts on Sunday, Oct. 1. Both games are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Love Field.
