The Continentals held a 36-35 edge at the break and there were four lead changes early in the second half. A Stewart layup gave the Mules their last lead at 39-38 with 18:32 left before Hamilton went on an 11-0 run that put it ahead for good.

A 3-pointer by Stewart ended Colby's scoring drought at 4 minutes, 13 seconds and pulled the Mules within seven at 49-42 with 14:19 to go. Colby didn't get closer than six points the rest of the way.

Hamilton took its largest lead of 12 points three times midway through the second half. Hoffmann put the Continentals up 58-46 on a basket from beyond the arc with 10:16 left, a Gilmour layup made it 60-48 with 9:19 remaining and an old-fashioned 3-point play by Hoffmann gave Hamilton a 63-51 advantage with 8:48 to go. The Mules jumped out to a 10-4 lead early in the first half and were in front for most of the opening 10 minutes. A layup by Daley put Colby up by two at 17-15 with 9:52 left but the Continentals responded with a 9-0 run and they led the rest of the half. Grassey started the run with a jumper and Hoffmann scored the next four points. Vincent Conn '20 made the first of his two free throws and Kyle Pitman '17 scored in the paint for a 24-17 cushion as the Mules went 4:09 without a point.

Hamilton returns home to Margaret Bundy Scott Field House, where the Continentals are 7-0, for another NESCAC game against Trinity College on Friday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m.
