The Hamilton College women's squash team breezed to a 9-0 win against Colgate University at Hamilton's Little Squash Center on Tuesday.

The Continentals (6-12 overall) played their final match of the regular season. The two teams were originally scheduled to square off on Sunday, Feb. 12 but the match was postponed due to heavy snow in Central New York that afternoon.

Hamilton competes in the 2017 College Squash Association National Team Championships at Princeton University starting on Friday, Feb. 24.

The Continentals are 26th in the most recent CSA team rankings and Colgate is 39th. Every Hamilton player won their match in three games except for Elizabeth Lee '20, who was a winner by default at the ninth position because Colgate (a club team) brought just eight players.

Charlotte Zonis '19 played her first match at the first position and was a winner by scores of 11-3, 11-6 and 11-5. Perry Von Stade '17 and Katherine Bauer '18 didn't have much trouble either at the second and third positions, respectively.

Alex Regan '17 (fourth position), Molly Pivirotto '18 (fifth) and Natalie Burkardt '18 (sixth) were victorious at the middle of the ladder. Lindsay Jadow '19 played at the seventh position and won for the fifth time in her last six matches. Jean Beecher '19 lost just seven points at the eighth position.
