The Hamilton College women's squash team dropped a 7-2 decision against the William Smith College Herons at William Smith's Smith Squash Center on Sunday afternoon.
The Hamilton women (3-10 overall) are 26th in this week's College Squash Association Team Rankings and the Herons (11-6) are ranked 24th.
Charlotte Zonis '19 posted a four-game victory at the second position, including an 11-2 score in the deciding game. Zonis picked up her fourth win of the season.
Katherine Bauer '18 was also a winner in four games at the fifth position. Bauer, who owns a 5-3 record, leads the Continentals with those five victories.
Hamilton competes in the 2017 NESCAC Women's Squash Championship at Amherst College from Friday, Feb. 3 to Sunday, Feb. 5. The Continentals' first-round opponent will be announced later this week.
