The Hamilton College women's squash team played a pair of NESCAC matches in Maine over the weekend. The women lost 7-2 at Bowdoin College Friday and were blanked 9-0 at Bates College Saturday.
The Continentals are 2-7 overall and 23rd in the College Squash Association's latest rankings; Bowdoin is 18th and the Bobcats are 16th.
Katherine Bauer '18 and Jean Beecher '19 were Hamilton's winners against the Polar Bears, winning at number six and number nine, respectively. Both rallied to win three straight after dropping the first set.
Hamilton is back on the road for three weekend matches in Massachusetts. The Continentals play at Amherst College Saturday and play at Smith College Sunday, taking on Wesleyan University and the host school.
