The Hamilton College women's soccer team dropped a NESCAC game to Amherst College Saturday, losing 3-0 at Amherst's Hitchcock Field in NESCAC action.

The Continentals are now 2-6-2 overall and 1-6-1 in the NESCAC.

The hosts scored twice in the game's first eight minutes and finished with a 20-6 advantage in shots.

Rubii Tamen and Ashlyn Heller tallied goals in the first half and Emily Hester closed out the scoring with a goal in the 63rd minute.

Emily Dumont '19 finished with three saves while playing the final 83 minutes for Hamilton. Amherst goalkeeper Chelsea Cutler stopped all three Continental shots to record the shutout.

The Continentals return home to host Sage in a 4 p.m. game Tuesday. The non-league game kicks off a stretch of three home contests in six days.
