Box Score The Hamilton College field hockey team won their fourth game in a row with a 3-1 victory over the host Wesleyan Cardinals Saturday afternoon in Middletown, Conn. For the Continentals, who improved to 5-3 overall and 3-2 in the NESCAC, it's their longest winning streak since 2014.
Eva Rosencrans '17 scored Hamilton's final goal, reaching a pair of milestones on the play. The goal was the 45th of her career, matching the program's career record set by Colleen Callaghan '11 from 2007 to 2010. Rosencrans now has 100 career points, joining Callaghan as the only Continentals to reach that total.
Hamilton's leading scorer, Michaela Giuttari '20, opened the scoring with her eighth goal of the season. Margaret Revera '18 assisted on the go-ahead goal, which came just 3:44 into the game. Giuttari now has 21 points.
Sarah Stinebaugh '19 collected her fourth goal of 2016 with Tatiana Bradley '19 picking up the assist with 8:35 left in the second half. Rosencrans' goal, in the 64th minute, put the visitors up 3-0.
The Cardinals got on the board with 5:12 left in the game on a goal by Cici Frattasio.
Julia Booth '19 stopped five shots in goal for Hamilton. Delaney Wood made 10 saves for Wesleyan (1-7, 0-4 NESCAC).
The Continentals continue their weekend road swing with a noon game at Tufts Sunday. The Jumbos are ranked sixth nationally.
