Scoreless tie at Wesleyan for women's soccer

The Hamilton College women's soccer team played the host Wesleyan Cardinals to a scoreless tie in a NESCAC game in Middletown, Conn., Saturday. The teams played two 10-minute overtime periods following regulation.

Hamilton is now 2-4-2 overall and 1-4-1 in the NESCAC while the Cardinals stand at 2-3-3 overall with a 0-1-3 conference mark.

The 0-0 deadlock was Hamilton's second of the season. The Continentals outshot Wesleyan 17-7.

Rachel Cooley '18 stopped both shots she faced to record her fifth career shutout and her first collegiate double-overtime blanking.

Wesleyan's Zoe Cassels-Brown made 12 saves.

Hamilton is back in action Sunday, playing a NESCAC game in Medford, Mass., against the host Tufts Jumbos.
