Box Score The Hamilton College women's team closed its season Saturday with a loss to NESCAC opponent Bowdoin College at Margaret Bundy Scott Field House. The Polar Bears (21-6, 8-2 NESCAC) swept the match 25-9, 25-16, 25-17.
Anna Brown '15 led the Continentals (4-16, 1-9 NESCAC) with 11 digs, raising her career total to 1,184. She ranks fourth on the program's all-time list and will enter her senior season needing just two to move into third place.
Sarah Pfund '14, playing in her final collegiate match, contributed 10 digs and nine assists. She finished her career with 1,397 assists, good for sixth among Hamilton's career leaders.
The Polar Bears were led by Christy Jewett '16, who finished with nine kills and five blocks. Sophia Cornew '14 had 16 assists and Katie Doherty '17 contributed 10 digs. Hailey Wahl '16 notched six of Bowdoin's 16 service aces with Taylor Vail '14 adding five.
Jamie Granskie '16 had all three of the Continentals' service aces. Emma Lonadier '16 and Courtney Somerville '16 both had two blocks and were two of three Hamilton players – along with Erin Casey '15 – to record three kills.
