Hamilton falls 3-1 to Connecticut College

The Hamilton College volleyball team dropped a four-set match at Connecticut College (10-9, 5-4 NESCAC) in NESCAC competition Saturday at Luce Field House.

The Continentals dropped the first set 25-18 before tying the match with a 25-19 victory in the second. The host Camels clinched the match with 29-27 and 25-22 wins.

Ivanka Temnycky '17, Jessica Weston '17 and Courtney Somerville '16 each collected eight kills. Temnycky's total was one short of her career high. Sarah Pfund '14 led the Continentals with 30 assists and added eight digs.

Anna Brown '15 collected a team-leading totals of 17 digs and four service aces. Emily Rosen '15 contributed nine digs and Emily Lonadier '15 finished with eight. Somerville and Weston both had three blocks.

Hamilton is idle next weekend; the Continentals close out the regular season Friday and Saturday, Nov. 1 and 2, hosting Bates and Bowdoin, respectively.
