2019 NCAA Cross Country Championship Qualifier release

Thirty-two teams were selected to participate in each championship. The top two, seven-person teams automatically qualified from each of the eight regions for a total of 16 teams. Sixteen additional teams were selected at-large. Fifty-six individuals -- the first seven student-athletes who are not a part of a qualifying team from each region -- were selected to participate in each championship.

Humphreys finished in 11th place out of 274 athletes with a personal-record time of 22:42.4 on St. Lawrence University's 6-kilometer course at the 2019 NCAA Division III Atlantic Region Women's Cross Country Championship on Saturday. She smashed her previous career-best time by 36 seconds and will be racing in the national championships for the first time.
