Women's cross country dominates Short Course Tuneup

The Hamilton College Continentals placed the top four women's finishers in the 3-kilometer and 4-kilometer races in their own 2019 Cross Country Short Course Tuneup on Saturday.

Hamilton's Natasha Lane '21 captured first place out of 23 runners with a 4K time of 15:58.4. Haley Driscoll '21 was runner-up in 16:10.3 and Courtney Brunet '20 ended up in third place with a time of 16:16.5. Katie Jenkinson '23 rounded out the top four with a time of 16:32.9.

Brigit Humphreys '21 posted the top time in the 3K as she topped the 43-runner field in 11:14.9. Liza Greene '22 took second place behind Humphreys with a time of 11:21.2 and Amanda Johnson '21 was third in 11:56.1. Liv Holbrook '23 rounded out the race's top four with a time of 12:00.6.

The Continentals compete in the 2019 NESCAC Cross Country Championships at Mount Greylock Regional High School on Saturday, Nov. 2.
