The women's cross country team captured the team title in the 2018 Hamilton College Short Course Tuneup on Hamilton's campus on Saturday.

The Continentals finished with 20 team points, which was half of the point total runner-up Utica College had. William Smith College ended up with 55 points and SUNY Polytechnic Institute racked up 103. Team scores were created from the top three finishers from each team in the 3-kilometer and 4-kilometer races.

Hamilton's Andy Uribe '19 finished in second place out of 21 athletes on the muddy and slow 4-kilometer course with a time of 16:15.4. Haley Driscoll '21 crossed the finish line right behind Uribe in 16:17.1 and Katie Cronin '21 took fifth place with a time of 16:47.1.

Brigit Humphreys '21 led the Continentals in the 3-kilometer race as she finished second out of 62 runners with a time of 11:26.3. Mia Schiel '22 landed in third place with a time of 11:34 and Liza Greene '21 was fifth in 11:47.7.
