Volleyball earns team academic award for 10th time

The Hamilton College volleyball program collected the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award for the 2018-19 season on July 22.

The Continentals earned the honor for the second year in a row under head coach Kristin Baker and for the 10th time in the last 12 years overall. The award honors collegiate and high school volleyball teams that displayed excellence in the classroom during the school year by maintaining a cumulative team grade point average of at least 3.30 or better.

Hamilton's Claire Kitz '19, Dorothy Poucher '21 and Kayla Self '21 made the 2018 NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team. The Continentals open the 2019 season with four matches at the SUNY New Paltz Hawks Invitational on Sept. 6 and 7.
