Hamilton College setter Kyndal Burdin '18 (Boynton Beach, Fla./Park Vista HS) was selected the NESCAC Volleyball Player of the Week on Monday, Oct. 30.

Burdin averaged 9.46 assists, 2.38 digs, 0.38 blocks and 0.31 aces per set in three matches for the Continentals. In Friday's five-set win against Middlebury, she tied a career high with 55 assists and added 10 digs and two blocks. The victory helped Hamilton clinch a 7-3 conference record and the No. 4 seed in the NESCAC championship -- the best conference record and seed in the program's history.

Burdin added 41 assists, two aces and two blocks in a four-set triumph against Morrisville State College on Saturday, and chipped in 27 assists and 17 digs in a setback against St. Lawrence University later that afternoon. She is eighth in the conference with 8.21 assists per set this year. Burdin has posted double-figure totals in both assists and digs in 10 matches this fall.

The Continentals play fifth-seeded Amherst College in a 2017 NESCAC Volleyball Championship quarterfinal on Friday, Nov. 3 at 8 p.m. in Medford, Massachusetts. Top-seeded Tufts University will host all three rounds of the event this weekend.
