Steiner ’20 wins women's 100 meters at West Point Twilight Meet

Hamilton College women's track & field athletes Cat Berry '19, Diamond Jackson '21, McKela Kanu '22 and Marie Steiner '20 participated in the 2019 Army West Point Twilight Meet at Army's Shea Stadium on Thursday.

In a meet primarily filled with NCAA Division I participants, Steiner won the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.62 seconds. She recorded the same time in the preliminary heats and the finals.

The Continentals' 400-meter relay of Kanu, Berry, Steiner and Jackson recorded a winning time of 49.12 seconds. The foursome's season-best time of 48.26 seconds broke the program record on March 30.

Hamilton heads to the 2019 All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Outdoor Championships at SUNY Cortland on May 15 and 16.
