Three Continentals go unbeaten at the Ithaca College Invitational

The Hamilton College women's tennis team won all five doubles matches and won eight of 14 singles matches at the Ithaca College Invitational on Sept. 15 and 16. The Continentals played singles matches against Union College and St. Lawrence University, while also taking on the hosts in doubles.

Sophia Aulicino '21, Sarah Bargamian '22 and Audrey Chor '21 all went unbeaten over the weekend.

Aulicino defeated Union's Tal Pezzuco 8-3 and followed with an 8-4 win over Christina Ryan from St. Lawrence. Chor posted an 8-4 victory against Union's Paige Webster and made quick work of St. Lawrence's Grace van Tartwijk with an 8-2 triumph. The duo also teamed up in doubles and posted 8-6 and 8-4 wins against their opponents from Ithaca and Union, respectively.

Bargamian won 8-5 against Alex Greenberg from Union and 8-6 against Haley Sherrard of St. Lawrence in singles. Bargamian teamed up with Ndanu Mutisya '21 in doubles where they posted a dominating 8-1 win over a Union pairing.

Up next, the Continentals travel to William Smith College in Geneva, N.Y. to compete in the ITA Northeast Regional Championships from Sept. 22-24.
