Logan '20 in top three in three events for women's swimming and diving

The Hamilton College Continentals absorbed dual meet losses against Middlebury College and nationally ranked No. 10 Williams College at Hamilton's Bristol Pool on Saturday afternoon.

The Continentals are 4-3-1 in dual meets this season after they fell 185-113 against Middlebury and 187-102 against Williams. Hamilton honors its three seniors on Saturday, Feb. 1 when the Continentals host Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for a dual meet at 1 p.m.

Sadie Logan '20 posted a trio of top three finishes for Hamilton. Logan was second in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:00.76, third in the 50 back in 27.87 seconds and third in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.50 seconds.

Sam Karlson '23 finished as runner-up in the 100 free with a time of 54.75 seconds and the 200 free (1:57.85). The winner in the 200 touched the wall just eight one-hundredths of a second before Karlson.

Julia Martin '21 landed in third place in the 50 breaststroke with a time of 32.14 seconds, and Anna Edelson '23 ended up in third place in the 100 breast (1:10.75).
