Martin '21 an event winner for women's swimming and diving

Hamilton College's Julia Martin '21 finished in first place in the 100-yard breaststroke and the Continentals competed against Middlebury College and nationally ranked No. 6 Williams College in a triple dual meet at Middlebury's Natatorium on Saturday afternoon.

Martin's winning time in the 100 breast was 1:10.25, and she was fifth in the 50 breast with a time of 32.61 seconds. Sadie Logan '20 was runner-up in the 100 backstroke (1:01.46) and took third place in the 50 back in 28.33 seconds.

Kenzie Burton '22 ended up in fourth place in the 100 butterfly (1:00.61) and landed in sixth place in the 100 freestyle with a time of 57.10 seconds. Lucy Hamann '22 was sixth in the 500 free (5:21.37) and diver Sarah Pickup '19 finished fourth in the 3-meter springboard with 194.19 points.

Hamilton wraps up the regular season with a dual meet at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m.
