After a strong showing in the first round of the 2019 NESCAC Women's Squash Championship, the Hamilton College Continentals fell to the Williams College Ephs and the Bates College Bobcats on Saturday in quarterfinal and consolation bracket matches at Trinity College's Kellner Squash Center.

The Continentals (9-6 overall) -- seeded seventh for the tournament -- dropped 9-0 decisions against the second-seeded Ephs and sixth-seeded Bobcats. Bates is 19th in the Dunlop College Squash Rankings, sitting just ahead of Hamilton at No. 21, and Williams is ranked 13th.

Hamilton faces off against No. 8 seed Wesleyan University in another consolation bracket match on Sunday morning at 9:30 as the Continentals try to even their record at 2-2 for this year's championship. After that Hamilton heads to Geneva, N.Y., to face William Smith College on Tuesday, Feb. 12.
