Hamilton is actually tied for No. 7 with Williams College in the latest poll. The Continentals were also tied for seventh two weeks ago. Hamilton races in the 2019 New York State Collegiate Rowing Championships on Fish Creek in Saratoga Spring on Saturday, May 4.

The Continentals will go head-to-head with nationally ranked No. 3 Ithaca College, No. 9 William Smith College and No. 13 Rochester Institute of Technology this weekend. St. Lawrence University also received votes in this week's Division III poll. Hamilton has boats entered in the varsity 8, second varsity 8 and third varsity 8.

In the latest Division III New York Regional rankings conducted by the NCAA, the Continentals are No. 2 in the varsity 8, second varsity 8 and team categories. Ithaca tops all three, William Smith is third in the varsity 8 and team categories, and RIT is third in the second varsity 8 and fourth as a team. The state regatta is one of two more chances remaining for Hamilton to earn a spot in the NCAA championships later this month.
