Matt Brisotti

Matt Brisotti was named head coach of the Hamilton College men's and women's tennis teams in December 2017. Both teams excelled in Brisotti's first full season with the Continentals. The women finished the 2018-19 season at No. 40 in the ITA Division III Team Rankings and 13th in the Northeast Region with an overall record of 11-4 including 3-3 against NESCAC opponents. One player ended up at No. 50 in the ITA Division III women's singles rankings and earned all-conference team honors.

Brisotti guided the men to their highest dual match win total since 1995-96 and best winning percentage in 25 years with an 11-5 record. The men landed at No. 18 in the final ITA Northeast Region Team Rankings and a doubles pairing set a team record for victories in a season.

A total of six Hamilton tennis players made the 2019 NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team and both teams earned the ITA All-Academic Team award for the second year in a row.

Brisotti was the head coach for Drew University men's and women's tennis from the spring of 2014 through the fall of 2017 and his teams won 63 dual matches. He was selected the 2016-17 Landmark Conference Women's Tennis Coach of the Year after he guided the squad to a record of 14-2, including 7-0 in the conference, and the semifinals of the Landmark championship. He coached the Landmark rookie of the year as well as three singles players and two doubles teams on the all-conference team. Brisotti had one singles player and one doubles pairing on the 2015-16 all-conference team, and he led the Rangers to a 2015 Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III championship finals appearance.

The Drew men's team enjoyed a great deal of success in 2016-17 under Brisotti as well. The Rangers posted a 16-4 record and earned a spot in the Landmark semifinals with a 5-2 conference record. He coached the conference's player of the year and a co-rookie of the year, as well as three singles players and a pair of doubles teams to all-Landmark honors. In 2015-16 he had the Landmark rookie of the year and two singles players on the all-conference team.

Brisotti finished his collegiate career as one of the top players in Drew men's tennis history. As of 2017 he was fourth on the program's list with 55 career singles victories and he held the team record for most career doubles wins with 64. He made the Landmark all-conference first team in singles twice and was on the second team for doubles three times. He was a captain and the team's most valuable player his senior year. Brisotti helped the Rangers achieve a great deal of team success as they assembled an overall record of 50-25 and boasted a perfect 28-0 mark in conference play. Drew was conference champions all four years with Brisotti, and the Rangers made three NCAA Division III championship appearances. Drew advanced to the second round of NCAAs in 2010 and 2012.

Prior to leading the programs at Drew, Brisotti was the head women's tennis coach at College of Saint Elizabeth in 2013-14. He was an instructor at Murray Hill Tennis & Fitness and The Strand Tennis Center in New Jersey.

Brisotti was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at Drew where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in sociology with a minor in public health. He is from Mattituck, N.Y., and graduated from Mattituck High School.
