Erin Robson joined the Hamilton College men's and women's squash staff as the head coach in September 2023 after she served 11 seasons in the same role at Mount Holyoke College.

Robson was Mount Holyoke’s interim head coach in 2012-13 and the interim label was removed the following season. In 2018-19 she guided the Lyons’ women’s squash team to a 16-9 record and the College Squash Association’s (CSA) Most Improved Team award. The team advanced to the Walker Cup final at the CSA National Team Championships and finished 22nd in the national rankings.

Robson began her coaching career as an assistant at Vassar College in 1990. After two seasons at Vassar she moved on to Smith College where Robson was the head coach from 1992 to 1994. She served in the same role at Williams College for the next three seasons. Robson’s next two jobs were as assistant coach at Mount Holyoke (1997-98) and Amherst College (2003-04). She was hired as the interim head coach at Smith in 2008 and then became the assistant coach for the next three seasons until 2012.

Robson received her Level 2 Coaching Certification from US Squash in 2015. She is currently serving on the CSA’s Justice, Equity and Inclusion Committee, and was recently nominated and elected to a two-year term on the CSA Executive Board.

Robson earned her bachelor’s degree from Amherst and her master’s in exercise and sports studies from Smith.
