The Continentals are in the top 10 for the first time this year as they have won five in a row and 10 of their last 11. Hamilton posted a pair of one-goal victories on the road against ranked opponents last week and improved their overall record to 11-4. The Continentals edged No. 12 Ithaca College 13-12 on April 19 and wrapped up the regular season with a 7-6 triumph at then-No. 6 Trinity College in NESCAC action on April 22.

Hamilton is currently alone in first place in the NESCAC standings with an 8-2 conference record but is the only team that has completed its regular season. The Continentals have clinched one of the top four seeds in the 2017 NESCAC Women's Lacrosse Championship and will host a quarterfinal on Saturday, April 29. The opponent and start time won't be determined until late Wednesday, April 26.

Hamilton is 5-2 against ranked teams this year. The Continentals were ranked fourth in the New England Region by the NCAA on April 19. The rankings, which are used to select the field for the 2017 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship, will be released again on Wednesday.
