Women's golf places 7th at season-ending Amherst tournament

The Hamilton College Continentals finished in seventh place out of 10 teams at the 2019 Amherst College Jack Leaman Women's Golf Tournament played at Ledges Golf Club in South Hadley, Mass., on April 27 and 28.

Libbie Warner '19 led Hamilton in her final collegiate tournament as she tied for 22nd place out of 55 golfers at 163. Warner's 78 on Sunday was the best round of the weekend for the Continentals.

Emily Moy '22 led Hamilton with an 84 on Saturday, added an 81 in the second round, and tied for 27th at 165. Molly Healey '22 carded a season-best 83 on Sunday, Celia Lau '21 posted an 85 and Sophia Archos '21 added an 86.

The Continentals recorded a four-person team score of 356 on Saturday and improved by 29 shots to 327 on Sunday for a tournament total of 683. Williams College captured the team title at 597, Wellesley College was runner-up at 626, and New York University came in third place at 632.
