Hamilton College's Libbie Warner '19 (Richmond, Va./St. Catherine's School) and Celia Lau '21 (Sarasota, Fla./Pine View School) were both selected for the 2018 NESCAC Women's Golf All-Conference Team on Wednesday, Oct. 24.

Warner and Lau were voted to the second team as a total of 10 golfers received all-conference honors. Warner and Lau are on the all-conference team for the first time after they helped lead the Continentals to team titles in their own invitational and the 2018 William Smith College Golf Invitational.

Warner led the team this fall with a stroke average of 80.00 over the course of a dozen 18-hole rounds. She shot 80 or better seven times and finished in the top 10 in four out of six tournaments. Warner tied for seventh place at the 2018 St. Lawrence University Women's Golf Invitational in early September after she fired an even-par 72 in the first round and added a 79 on Sunday. Warner's tournament score of 151 obliterated her previous 36-hole collegiate record of 157.

Lau posted a stroke average of 85.08 in 12 rounds and finished in the top 10 in three tournaments. She saved her best performance for last as she tied for third place at the 2018 NESCAC Women's Golf Championship in early October. She carded a collegiate-best 75 in the first round at Middlebury College's Ralph Myhre Golf Course, and her tournament total of 160 set another career-best for 36 holes. Her 75 was Hamilton's lowest round of the weekend.
