Women's golf in 4th place after first day at NESCAC Championship

Hamilton College is in fourth place out of seven teams after the first day of the 2018 NESCAC Women's Golf Championship on Saturday at Middlebury College's Ralph Myhre Golf Course.

The 36-hole tournament continues at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7 in Middlebury, Vermont. The Continentals posted a four-person team score of 335 in the first round. Williams is the round one leader at 320, Amherst is one shot back in second place, and Middlebury is third at 326.

Hamilton's Celia Lau '21 fired a collegiate-best 75 on the par-71 layout and is in second place out of 37 golfers. Winda Wanikpun '20 is tied for 12th place with an 84 and Emily Moy '22 is tied for 16th with an 87. Sophia Archos '21 is 20th after her 89 on Saturday.
