Hamilton College put four players in the top 10 and the Continentals captured the team title at the 2018 William Smith Golf Invitational at Clifton Springs Country Club on Sunday.

Hamilton held a six-stroke lead after posting a four-person team score of 324 on Saturday, but ended up winning by 24 shots with a 326 in the final round for a tournament total of 650. The Continentals also collected the team trophy at their own invitational two weeks ago. SUNY Cortland was the runner-up at 674 and Union College came in third place out of 11 teams at 715.

Hamilton's Emily Moy '22 finished second out of 56 golfers with a 36-hole total of 154. Moy's 3-over-par 75 in the final round was the top score all weekend for the Continentals and her best 18 at Hamilton. Libbie Warner '19 carded rounds of 77 and 78 and ended up in third place one stroke behind Moy. Warner has three top 10 finishes this fall.

Winda Wanikpun '20 placed sixth at 165 (80-85) and Celia Lau '21 tied for ninth at 176 after a pair of 88s. Wanikpun's 80 is her best 18-hole round this fall. Molly Healey '22 tied for 13th at 181 (90-91).

Hamilton competes at the Mount Holyoke College Invitational at The Orchards in South Hadley, Massachusetts, on Sept. 22 and 23.
