Hamilton College's Libbie Warner '19 led the Continentals to the 2018 Hamilton Women's Golf Invitational team title at Yahnundasis Golf Club in nearby New Hartford on Sunday.

The Continentals won their own tournament for the second year in a row thanks to a 679 total after a four-person team total of 338 on Saturday was followed by a 341 in the final round. SUNY Cortland was runner-up in the eight-team tournament at 694 and Ithaca College finished third at 712.

Warner finished third out of 42 golfers with a 36-hole total of 163. Her 7-over par 80 on the second day was tied for the team's best round of the weekend.

Hamilton's Emily Moy '22 and Winda Wanikpun '20 tied for fourth place at 166. In her first collegiate tournament, Moy matched Warner's 80 on Sunday. Wanikpun, who was the individual medalist at last year's tournament, carded an 83 both days while playing as an individual.

Sophia Archos '21 and Celia Lau '21 gave the Continentals five players in the top 10. Archos fired a career-best 80 on Saturday and finished alone in seventh place at 173. Lau landed in 10th place at 177 after rounds of 89 and 88.

The Hamilton women compete in the St. Lawrence University Invitational this weekend. The tournament begins on Saturday, Sept. 8 and concludes on Sunday, Sept. 9.
