Why Hamilton? What attracted me to Hamilton were the people and the overall atmosphere of the college. I love going to a small school where you are surrounded by familiar faces of people who all support one another and all want each other to succeed.

Favorite Past Sports Memory: My favorite softball memory was in high school where my team went 15-0 and won the Class A Western New England Championship. I made the last out of the game by fielding a ground ball to first, ending the game in a 2-0 win for Westminster. Everyone on and off the field contributed to that win. We all worked so hard to get to that moment and I was so proud of my teammates and myself for, not only being able to play a “perfect” season, but for being able to have fun and make so many memories along the way that pulled as closer as a team.

Who is your role model and what's their relationship to you? Every member of my family are my role models. My dad was the one who got me in to softball and taught me that it’s okay to fail. Failure can push you harder and make you into a better athlete, student, and person. He taught me that anything is within my grasp if I just work hard enough for it. My mom taught me patience and how to look at things differently. She continuously shows me how to find the positives in anything and build from there. My brothers are also my role models as they gave me the competitiveness that got me where I am today. I look up to them because they have taken my mom and dads’ advice and have started building their lives from it, giving me guidance as I start to form mine. My whole family are my role models because they are the hardest working people I have ever met and I am thankful for all the love and support they have given me.
