CoSIDA Academic All-District Softball Team release

Berreitter is one of 12 student-athletes on the first team in NCAA Division III District 3, which includes New York colleges and universities. She received the same honor after the 2019 season.

The academic all-district team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. All student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or better and be at least a sophomore in academic standing or enrolled at their institution for an academic year. The teams are divided into eight geographic districts across the U.S. and Canada in each of the three NCAA divisions and the NAIA.

Berreitter, who played the majority of her career at third base, hit .363 with a .466 on-base percentage and .541 slugging percentage in 101 career games. She finished with 110 hits including 38 for extra bases, 92 runs, 46 runs batted in, 26 stolen bases, 32 walks and just 16 strikeouts, and was hit by a pitch 31 times. She holds the program record for runs scored despite playing only three seasons. The government major is a three-time member of the NESCAC spring all-academic team and graduates with a 3.75 GPA.
