The Hamilton College Continentals finished in the top five in eight events at Cornell University's 2019 Marc Deneault Indoor Invitational on Saturday.
No team scores were kept at the meet, which featured teams from all three NCAA divisions.
Lucas Wright '21 paced the 800-meter run with a season-best time of 1:54.41. Classmate Will Richardson '21 topped the field in the 500 meters with a season-best time (1:07.99). Richardson kicked off the 4x400 meter relay and Wright anchored the third-place relay (3:32.49). Jake Bolster '19 and Hugo Frost '22 completed the foursome.
Ty Kunzman '20 placed second in the 35-pound weight throw and improved his previous school record of 17.63 meters with a personal-best distance of 17.77 meters. Frost leaped 12.43 meters in the triple jump for a second-place finish.
Bryce Murdick '20 posted a career-best time of 15:11.28 and finished first in the 5,000-meter run, qualifying him for the 2019 All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Indoor Championships on March 1 and 2. Chris Skeldon '20 finished third (15:59.78) in the event and Nick Lyon '22 placed fourth (16:18.32).
Ryan Sedwick '19 finished eighth in both the 60- and 200-meter dash with times of 7.36 and 24.04 seconds, respectively. Sedwick posted a slightly faster time of 7.33 seconds in the 60-meter prelims. Bolster crossed the line in 53.70 seconds and finished eighth in the 400 meters, and Aaron Kraus '21 posted a time of 2:01.88 and placed eighth in the 800 meters.
