Men's tennis posts fourth win in last five matches

The Hamilton College Continentals defeated the SUNY Oneonta Red Dragons 7-2 on Saturday afternoon inside Hamilton's Margaret Bundy Scott Field House. The Continentals improved their overall record to 4-8, while SUNY Oneonta dropped to 5-8.

In singles play, Sam Farber '20 defeated his first flight opponent, and Rob Dotterer '21 only ceded one game en route to his 10th win of the season. Max Zimmerman '21 claimed his 11th win of the season as he defeated Nicholas Fox in third flight action.

Jafar Sharipov '21 was victorious at the fifth flight for his ninth win of the season. Matt May '21 played a close first set but didn't drop a single game in the second set at the sixth flight.

In doubles play, Farber and Dotterer teamed up at the first flight for their team-leading eighth win of the season. Zimmerman and Tim Derby '21 defeated their Oneonta opponents at the second flight and improved their record to 6-3 as a doubles pair.

Hamilton will host nationally ranked No. 15 Tufts University on Sunday, April 15 inside Margaret Bundy Scott Field House at 9 a.m.
